To be based in Nairobi with frequent travel to sites across the country, the Electrician will be responsible to the Electrical Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Installation and maintenance of electrical equipment in the sites;
- Maintenance and servicing of standby generators;
- Motor rewinding and maintenance;
- Diagnosing electrical faults and ensuring timely attendance to the same;
- Requisitioning and verification of quality electrical spares and accessories;
- Observing and complying with environmental, health and safety measures and regulations.
Requirements
- ‘O’ Level Division II or KCSE ‘C’ Plain or above
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Hands-on experience in PLCs and VFD control systems
- Knowledge of Gemba Kaizen methodology and facilitation
- At least five (5) years relevant working experience;
- Computer literacy.
