Ahead Kenya is a rapidly growing SME with its key aim being empowering citizens by utilizing practical, enlightening, entertaining and motivating training programs. The end result is a sustainable transformation at work, school or within an individual.

Ahead Kenya as peoples’ development and training organization endeavors to empower citizens through: Team Building, Motivational Speaking, Personal Development, and Management Training.

We also have our Charity/CSR section through which individuals/institutions sponsor some of our services to be offered either free or at a subsidized cost to their specified groups.

Our target market includes: youth/women groups (CBOs), schools, companies/corporate institutions, Banks/Saccos, individuals, families/friends, and other groups of people or institutions.

As a result of increased business, Ahead Kenya looks forward to filling the following posts. These additional posts will be frequent part-time jobs that will require short-time notice to come and deliver. They might require expansive travel around Kenya which Ahead Kenya will cater for and for which you must be prepared to undertake.

Team Building Facilitators

Your obligations:

·                     Taking part in actual team building exercise as the team leader.

·                     Coming up with activities that commensurate with what it means to build a team i.e. games, songs, appropriate jokes and other funfairs.

·                     Giving a theme to every activity you come up with so that your audience can learn and retain the knowledge not the activity.

·                     In case of fun day events, you must be ready to indulge your group for several hours on different activities with recesses in-between them.

·                     You must be ready to lead team building events for distinct clients including children, students, families, CBOs, managers and subordinate employees, and general public.

·                     You must always remember you represent Ahead Kenya hence everything must be undertaken with utmost professionalism.

Your Success Skills:

·                     Be fun loving, funny, bold, yet very respectful of other people.

·                     Be a person who easily makes friends, articulate in speech and ready to lead as an example.

·                     Be creative as to know what game/song or activity to include in indoor and outdoor events.

·                     Be time conscious, healthy, and travel savvy.

·                     You must have been in the field long enough to convince us so.

·                     We need the person in you first; your academic prowess secondly.

Motivational Speakers

Your obligations:

·                     You must indicate your target/strongest area(s) of inspiration which you must indicate in the reference of your cover letter/motivational letter i.e. youths, children, adult, employee, drug addicts, business or any other type of motivational speech area(s).

·                     You must be eloquent in English, Kiswahili and your mother tongue

·                     You must be presentable both in wear and speech.

·                     You must know your motivational area thoroughly in such a manner you don’t have to always use notes or give internet tales.

·                     You must always remember you represent Ahead Kenya hence everything must be undertaken with utmost professionalism.

Your Success Skills:

·                     You must always be yourself i.e. never try to imitate anyone!

·                     Public speaking skills are a must!

·                     Your must be adequately competent in your area of speech either academically or through experience.

·                     We need the person in you first; your academic prowess is secondary to this post.

·                     On certain circumstances, an interpreter can be provided to pass the message hence the deaf or those not conversant with the national languages need not be afraid to apply but they must attend the interview.

·                     Reformed prisoners, disabled people, former drug addicts, accident/incidents/disease survivors with a story to tell are also encouraged to apply for this post.

Personal Development Experts

·                     Train people on their areas of insufficiency in a face-to-face forum whether it be individuals or groups comprising people with a common predicament.

·                     Be in a position to unearth or to help others unearth their hidden potential, or to even grow their discovered potentials to the optimum.

·                     You must see yourself also as a counselor hence be in a position to help walk-ins adequately.

·                     You must always remember you represent Ahead Kenya hence everything must be undertaken with utmost professionalism.

·                     Private consultants can also apply giving all their logistics.

Your Success Skills:

·                     Know your subject area thoroughly.

·                     You should have been in this field for several years.

·                     Be able to work with difficult people sometimes even stubborn people.

·                     Relevant academic qualification will be a plus.

Management Trainers

Your obligations:

·                     Must be authoritative in such subject areas a customer care, tax, marketing/sales, entrepreneurship, finance, strategic planning, CBO/NGO/ICT/HR/Corporate/Schools management,

·                     Train on your subject area from experience not from academic point-of-view.

·                     Illustrate your subject matter with real life occurrences in the field you are in.

·                     Private consultants can also apply giving all their logistics.

·                     Remember you might be training other “experts” hence you must possess in-depth knowledge in your subject area.

·                     You must always remember you represent Ahead Kenya hence everything must be undertaken with utmost professionalism.

Your Success Skills:

·                     Specific academic qualification in your training area is obligatory.

·                     Be presentable and articulate in speech.

·                     At least three years of experience must be demonstrated.

·                     You must be someone who speaks with authority on your subject matter evinced through demonstration of practical experiences.
