Programme Manager – Kenya
Based in Nairobi
Saferworld is an independent non-governmental organisation that works to prevent and reduce violent conflict and promote cooperative approaches to security.
We work with civil society, governments and international organisations to encourage and support effective policies and practices through advocacy, research and policy development, and through supporting the actions of others.
The post-holder will lead the development and implementation of Saferworld’s conflict prevention work in Kenya.
He/she will manage a growing team and will work in close cooperation with partners and civil society. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate substantial experience of delivering peacebuilding projects
He/she will be fluent in Kiswahili and English, with good communication and strategic planning skills.
