USAID Funded Medical Supply Chain Project job in Nairobi, Kenya

Deloitte is implementing a supply chain strengthening program in Kenya that involves enhancing and developing people, process, and technology. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Change Management Advisor to help drive the organisation’s transformation.

The Change Management Advisor, based in Nairobi, will provide technical assistance for change management in particular and organisational development activities in general.

The Advisor will report to the Chief of Party and receive guidance from the Governance and Organizational Development Advisor to make sure that change management is implemented effectively and achieves anticipated results.

Roles and Responsibilities include:
  • Guide the change management process and assess progress against objectives.
  • Design and implement activities based on identified and prioritized needs through detailed and documented analysis.
  • Develop job aids, training materials, internal and external communication tools/reports, implementation plans, processes and messages, refine human resource systems to support the change including job descriptions, performance contracts, and performance appraisals.
  • Establish process documents such as procedural guidelines and job aids, to facilitate change.
  • Transfer change management, communication drafting and strategy, and human resource restructuring skills to counterparts.
  • Monitor client progress toward benchmarks, recommend revisions to change plan as needed.
  • Support the development of technical documents, presentations, and other reports documenting the achievements, lessons learned, and other findings related to the project, particularly in the area of change management in general, and organizational operational improvements in particular.
Qualifications
  • Related undergraduate university degree with Master’s degree
  • Essential: minimum 8-10 years’ experience and proven track record in designing and implementing successful cultural change management programs
  • Experience working with government agencies and the private sector
  • Experience in process optimization
  • Exceptional skill in training design, development, and delivery for results
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and ability to prioritize workload independently
  • Ability to build and maintain strong partner relationships at all levels
