Consultancy To Align & Integrate Child Protection Provisions In The Draft IDP Policy For Somaliland 
Somaliland has proposed an IDP Policy to outline a legal framework that guides how it handles issues relating to IDPs in the country.

The Policy is expected to draw from similar relevant frameworks and domesticate other relevant international instruments including those that protect children. 
The Government of Somaliland through the Ministry of Resettlement Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (MRRR) has proposed a draft IDP Policy with the support of UNOCHA, which requires further consultations and technical expertise to strengthen it, align with relevant instruments and finalize it. 
Save the Children in collaboration with the Government of Somaliland through the Ministry of Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction and with UNOCHA is seeking services of an expert consultant to undertake the task.

Child Safeguarding Policy:

Any employee, consultant, contractor or the supplier undertaking an activity on behalf of SCI must sign the Child Safeguarding – Declaration of Acceptance Form] and comply with the SCI’s Child Safeguarding Policy which is a statement of SCI’s commitment to preventing abuse and protecting children with whom it comes into contact. 
This extends not only to children with whom SCI and its partners work directly, but also includes children whom staff are responsible for. 
Save the Children’s Code of Conduct sets out the standards which all staff members must adhere to.
