and dynamic individuals required to assist in the establishment and

Duties & Responsibilities
- Implementation, management and development of new financial processes and systems
- Supervision, management and development of financial officers
- Management and adherence to procurement policies and procedures
- Maintenance and monitoring of debtors
- Bank account management and daily reconciliation of both fund and corporate accounts which includes timely investigation of balances
- Timely and accurate preparation of reports to both external and internal stakeholders
- Manage audit process to completion and implement recommendations
- Evaluation of expense management and pricing
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by exercising proper controls on inputs, output and access
- Prepare revenue monitoring systems and other reports from the financial system within agreed timelines
- Actively promote financial awareness throughout the organization
- Mitigate risks and controls to enhance efficiency
- Have a full understanding of consolidations and strong technical ability
Qualifications & Experience
- Financial Scrutiny/Governance& Efficiency Management
- Business Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
- Recognised Local or International Accounting Qualification, e.g. CPA(K), ACCA, CIMA
- Experience of using Accounting Software
- Qualified accountant with at least 5 years post qualified experience in financial services industry
- Experience of setting up and implementing new accounting and internal control systems, particularly in a challenging environment.
