Health Unlimited (HU) works with some of the poorest and most marginalised communities in Africa,
Asia and Latin America, often in very difficult environments.

Project Officer
HU is currently partnering with the Emergency Pastoralist Assistant Group (EPAG) based in Mandera County to implement the REACH (REalising Maternal And Child Health rights in difficult environments) project in Mandera, Kenya.
The incumbent will work within the framework of the EPAG partner.
The project officer, answerable to the Area Coordinator will provide technical leadership to the field level day-to-day implementation of to the REACH MCH project in Mandera, Kenya.
He/she will oversee the implementation of the REACH Project initiatives by the partner CSO, i.e. IQRA and the MoH to improve the accessibility, utilization and quality of maternal and child health services.
We want hear from you if you are a Medical Officer or Nurse with good working knowledge of the Kenyan health system, if you have at least three years experience working in community health based initiatives, have excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy, if you are committed to working with marginalized communities, and you are fluent in English and Somali.
