The role
To assist in effecting the mandate of the company in all aspects of Reinsurance
Underwriting. He/She will specifically:-
• Underwrite reinsurance business, treaty and facultative;
• Analyze risk profiles from cedants and make appropriate recommendations;
• Market company products and services;
• Provide excellent service to clients;
• Ensure prompt response to business correspondence;
• Marketing company products and services;
• Perform any other duties as will be assigned from time to time
The person
The preferred candidate should have:
• A degree from a recognized University with a major in Insurance;
• Relevant insurance professional qualifications – ACII preferred;
• Computer fluency in MS Office suite plus other Insurance/ Reinsurance
packages;
• At least 3 years of reinsurance experience in an insurance/reinsurance
company;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Be a team player;
• Be between 20-32 years of age
