Position: Financial Controller - Mombasa
Reporting To: Chief Financial Controller

Job Purpose: To provide leadership and management of all cash, foreign currency risk and statutory deductions management for the Company
Principle Accountabilities:

Job Purpose: To provide leadership and management of all cash, foreign currency risk and statutory deductions management for the Company
Principle Accountabilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- In charge of budgeting, budgetary control and forecasting process
- Prepare and monitor weekly/monthly/annual cash flow projections in all currencies
- Actively manage company cash flow on daily basis and generate relevant daily/weekly/monthly treasury operations report
- Manage all bank and cash payments including daily bank reconciliations
- Identify, Analyze and measure foreign currency exposures and recommend mitigation procedures/actions to management
- Monthly Payrolls preparation, payments and related reconciliations
- Manage timely preparation, payment and returns submission for statutory deductions including associated reconciliations
- Manage & pay all other non statutory payroll deductions and associated reconciliations
- Timely and accurate processing of all vouchers and other documents within treasury operations
- Perform month-end currency revaluations
- Manage all staff advances and recoveries including reconciliation of staff debtors
- Manage petty cash operations
- Tax planning and ensure that the company is fully tax compliant
- Over see credit management and evaluation of A&P effectiveness
- Manage external audit process
Qualifications & Experience:
- A degree in Business related studies
- Fully qualified accountant – CPA(K)/ACCA
- At least Eight years experience, two of which must be in treasury related operations and at least three years in supervisory role
- Experience in payroll management will be an added advantage
- Knowledge and experience in handling various tax issues
- Hands on experience in an ERP environment
- Highly energetic, eager to learn and with special attention to detail
