Operations Manager

The Operations Manager’s principal accountability will be:-
- Formulate, execute and review corporate strategies, policies, plans and budgets in line with functional responsibilities of the Operations Department.
- Optimize utilization of resources available in the department to attain the highest standards of service in regard to product handling in the warehouses, distribution and container handling.
- Develop, implement and regularly review internal controls to guard against stock and container losses in the warehouse and operations yard.
- Forecast operations resource requirements based on the sales projections and plan accordingly.
- Create systems for proper allocation and monitoring of the utilization of the warehouse and distribution equipment to ensure responsible and efficient use.
- Maintain stock controls by ensuring procedures are adhered to in regard to all transactions on full goods, containers and pallets.
- Ensure customer orders are delivered promptly at all times in the most cost effective manner.
- Establish, monitor and review procedures for hiring transporters.
Qualification and Competencies
- Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University, preferably in a business related field.
- Post-graduate qualification in Operations Management is an added advantage.
- A high degree of strategic and commercial aptitude as well as excellent communication skills.
- At least five years experience in operations management in a large busy concern, three of which must be in a senior position.
- Excellent interpersonal Skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong leadership skills and computer literate.
TCCMS Coordinator

Reporting directly to The Quality Assurance Manager, your principal accountability will be:-

- Develop a systems implementation plan in line with the Coca-Cola requirements.
- Develop and conduct training to ensure awareness and understanding of business systems.
- Implementation of legal & Coca-Cola system standards requirements.
- Coordinate and monitor plant good manufacturing practice activities.
- Ensure the implementation of the companys’s environmental, occupational health & safety requirements and compliance to statutory legislation governing health & safety e.g OSHA Act 2007 and NEMA Act.
- Facilitate and coordinate the update of all documents and records including reviews.
- Implementation of internal audit schedules and training of internal auditors
Qualification and Competencies
- A holder of Bachelors of Science degree in Environment, Occupational Health & Safety or Food Science and Technology or related filed
- Post-Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety will be an added advantage
- At least three years working experience in busy manufacturing industry.
- Excellent interpersonal Skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Highly developed report writing skills and should be computer literate.
