Workshop Manager
The manager shall supervise and look after a team of clerical staff, mechanics, and drivers responsible for repairs and service of vehicles and equipment.
The job holder shall have recognised work related training certificates with a minimum of 10 years experience.
He/she shall also be knowledgeable in same tractors, farming & commercial diesel.
Fabrication / Engineering Manager
The overall purpose for this position is to set up and run a small farm fabrication unit with key abilities in arc, mig and oxyacetylene gas welding, lathe turning of various metals.
The job holder shall have recognised work related training certificates with a minimum of 8 years experience in agricultural and horticultural fabrication with a well recognised company.
Workshop Mechanic
The successful candidate(s) should have proven knowledge of the following with specific reference to agricultural and horticultural implements; auto electricity, heavy plant machinery (caterpillar), agricultural irrigation pumps, generators, irrigation equipment, same tractors, hydraulic systems, panel beating / body repair and re– spraying.
