Kimaiyo impersonator charged

NAIROBI, KENYA: A man who impersonated Inspector General David Kimaiyo using a Facebook account has been charged in court.
Jackson Siro who was nabbed at Development House in Nairobi on Thursday evening by police,  pleaded guilty to two counts of impersonating Kimaiyo and posting offensive messages on the Facebook account.
The charge stated that between December 24 last year and January 2013 with intent to defraud, he falsely represented himself to be Kimaiyo by opening a false facebook account.
He was also charged with posting offensive messages on the Facebook account.
He appeared before the Nairobi Magistrate Waweru Kiaria.
However, he was not sentenced since the prosecution said the facts of the case were not ready.T he case will be heard on Monday.
