Our client a manufacturing company needs to fill the position of a
Receptionist
We are looking for a lady to handle our Front office Operations. The main duties are handling a very busy switch board and receiving visitors among many other duties that may be assigned to the job holder.
Key Duties:-
- Placing, answering/receiving, screening and directing calls.
- Updating all the phone related books.
- Typing letters, stickers and envelopes.
- Welcoming visitors and contractors at the reception, signing them in and out in the visitors book.
- Redirect calls as appropriate and take adequate information when required.
- Assist the Managing Director and other members of staff as requested.
- Ensures knowledge of staff / visitors' movements in and out of organization.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support
- Tidy and maintain the reception area.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Job Specifications:-
- The candidate should possess a Certificate in Front Office & Switchboard operations with over two years of work experience in the related field.
- K.C.S.E Mean Grade C+ and B in English.
- Aged between 25-32 years.
- Should possess knowledge in administrative and clerical procedures.
- Should possess knowledge of computers and relevant software applications.
- Should possess knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
