Head of Airtel Money
This role will report to the Commercial Director, Kenya.
The main purpose of the role will be to provide the strategic direction for the Airtel money product by coordinating the set budgetary targets to achieve the overall goal for the organization.

Other responsibilities include;
- Generate positive performance against the strategic plan
- Provide sound strategic direction on the distribution and visibility of the product
- Influence and align all stakeholders to the strategic plan to accomplish set goals
- Manage the Airtel money budget by directing actions to optimize costs and maximize revenues
- Develop and manage the Airtel money team by coaching and mentoring the team members to align their attitudes, build their skills and knowledge
Key requirements
- A Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Finance or Administration with a post graduate in Marketing, Finance or Administration. Masters in Business Administration will be an added advantage
- 5 years of experience in senior management, with at least 2 years experience in a financial institution
- Great business acumen and entrepreneurial skills
- Strong analytical, planning and networking skills
- Ability to come up with “out of the box” solutions
Head of Sales, Kenya
The position reports to the Commercial Director, Kenya.
The purpose of the role is to maximize revenues for Kenya through effective sales strategy formulation and implementation.
The role holder will direct a team of Sales Managers covering Kenya.
He/she will build and harness distributor and strategic partner relationships with a view to strengthening Airtel penetration and revenue growth.
Other responsibilities include;
The position reports to the Commercial Director, Kenya.
The purpose of the role is to maximize revenues for Kenya through effective sales strategy formulation and implementation.
The role holder will direct a team of Sales Managers covering Kenya.
He/she will build and harness distributor and strategic partner relationships with a view to strengthening Airtel penetration and revenue growth.
Other responsibilities include;
- Developing incentive plans for both partners and the sales team
- Maintain effective communications with Senior Management and key stakeholders within the Organization to ensure smooth running of operations
- Develop financial plans pertaining to the sales function
- Directs all local sales activities to maximize sales revenues and meet the set objectives
- Hire, direct, motivate, coach and develop managers/supervisors in the sales function
- Work closely with and support business partners/distributors to meet or exceed sales & growth targets
Key Requirements:
- University degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing. A Masters degree will be an added advantage
- At least 10 years experience ¡n sales, with 4 being in a senior leadership position
- Excellent knowledge of channel, indirect and direct sales
- Proven ability to analyze complex business issues and identify, design and implement effective practical recommendations
- Able to operate in a performance-driven organization
- Exemplary leadership capability to positively influence and motivate the entire sales force

Director, Information Technology
This role will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer.
The main purpose of the role will be to effectively manage operation of the IT function by overseeing the activities and operations of the IT department, ensuring the provision of world class IT services.

- Negotiate service level agreements with both internal and external customers and service providers and monitor service delivery to ensure the agreed targets and standards are met
- Direct the preparation and implementation of policies, procedures and standards relating to information and telecommunication systems
- Ensure efficient management of outsourced business partners
- Accountable for the management, mentoring and career development of all IT staff
- Defines and seeks approval for the level of IT resources required to meet the organization’s goals, prioritizes and schedules major projects
- Develop a disaster recovery plan to address any risk that may hinder normal operations and ensure safety and integrity of the organization’s data
- Responsible for researching and evaluating new technologies and trends
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a Business related degree.
- A Masters degree will be an added advantage
- At least 10 years work experience, with at least 3 years proven at a senior IT management level
- A proven track record of driving and defining complex IT strategy, budgetary experience and project management skills
- Exceptional communication skills are essential in order to explain complex IT concepts to non-technical colleagues
- Experience of managing multiple IT disciplines i.e. software development, technical support, systems architecture etc and a broad understanding of computer systems, applications and operating systems
- In-depth experience of negotiating with and managing third parties
