General Manager

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Day to day running of the company

  • Oversee company personnel to ensure a well motivated, high performance work force.
  • Develop a strategic management frame work to promote revenue, profitability and growth.
  • Oversee operations to ensure production, efficiency, quality and cost effective management of resources.
  • Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status of projects.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelors Degree in any Business related field.
  • Post Graduate qualification in Business Management
  • Must have worked for a minimum of 5 years as a Senior Manager in a busy organization.
  • High level interpersonal skills.
  • Aged between 30-40 years
Personal Assistant to the Managing Director

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Managing and maintaining the MDs diary- Appointments, Meetings and Events.
  • Read and analyze incoming mails, memos, requests and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution and their appropriate responses where applicable.
  • Maintaining proper filing of records to facilitate speed and efficient retrieval of documents.
  • Create relevant reports, carry out basic research and analyze data when required to assist the MD.
  • Action the directives given from the Managing Director as and when necessary.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Secretarial Studies
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience preferably gained in providing support to Senior Management in a busy office.
  • Good MS Office knowledge: Word/Excel/Power Point/Outlook
  • Self starter with personal initiative and ability to work without supervision
  • High level of confidentiality, integrity and good client relation.

Chief Accountant

Reporting to the General Manager, he/she will be responsible for providing overall financial guidance to the company and in particular:
  • Establish proper accounting and internal control systems and regularly monitor their operations, adequacy and efficiency
  • Preparation of accurate financial statements and management reports in a timely manner
  • Preparation and monitoring of company budgets.
  • Plan for and manage the company’s financial resources
  • Manage relationships with financiers.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • B.com or related degree
  • Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA/CA)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a senior finance position
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound analytical and IT skills

Accountant

Reporting to the Chief Accountant, he/she will be responsible for financial accounting in particular:
  • Preparation of complete and accurate financial accounts on a monthly basis
  • Payroll preparation and administration
  • Carrying out key account and control reconciliations

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • B.com or related degree
  • Minimum CPA Part II qualification

Accounts Assistants (2)

Reporting to the Accountant, he/she will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining accounting records
  • Book keeping and data entry
  • Assisting the accountant in duties of the department
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum CPA Part II qualification
  • 2 – 3 years experience in busy finance department
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Diligent and honest

Human Resource Officer

Reporting to the General Manager he/she will be responsible for:
  • Implementing human resource policies and procedures and managing day to day human resource administration.
  • Facilitating recruitments, appointments, discipline, health and safety.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • A Bachelors degree or Higher National Diploma in Human Resource Management
  • Have worked in busy human resource department for a minimum 3 years.
  • Computer literate
  • Be a team player and possess excellent interpersonal, communication, report writing and presentation skills.

Site Agent

One Post

Reporting to the General Manager he/she will be responsible for:
  • Planning, execution and monitoring of the projects
  • Represent the company in site meetings
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • Registered Engineer with at least 5 years experience as a site agent
  • Experience in road rehabilitation project covering pavement reconstruction and overlay.
  • Should have successfully supervised a similar project with a value of not less than 1 billion Kenya Shillings.
  • Computer literate, use of Microsoft office especially Excel is a must.
  • Proficiency in measurements and certificate preparation is a must.
Site Engineer

One Post


Reporting to the site agent he/she will
  • Assist the site agent in his duties
  • Monitor day to day implementation of instructions
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • Graduate Engineer with at least 3 years experience
  • Experience of 3 years in the field specialising in pavement reconstruction
  • Computer literate, use of Microsoft office especially Excel is a must.
  • Proficiency in measurements and certificate preparation is a must.
  • Proficiency in auto cad will be an added advantage
Project Surveyor
  • Have at least 8 years experience
  • Experience in usage of Total Station is a must
  • Must have worked for a road construction company for a minimum of 5 years
Senior General Foreman

One Post
  • Have at least 10 years hands-on experience in road works.
  • Served in a similar capacity for at least 7 years
  • A team player and demonstrate ability to supervise other foremen and headmen
  • Have organisational ability to schedule plant and human resources to achieve high level of productivity.
Pavement Foreman

Two Posts
  • Have at least 5 years hands-on experience in pavement construction/reconstruction
  • Demonstrate skills in control of pavement levels, processing of materials and stabilization.
Workshop Manager
  • Report to the site agent
  • Responsible of all company vehicles and plants
  • 5 years experience in a similar or equal position.
Workshop Supervisor
  • Report to the workshop manager
  • Responsible for supervision of workshop and field mechanics
  • Personal ability to diagnose and repair machinery
  • Have at least 5 years experience in a busy workshop
Quarry Manager
  • Report to the workshop manager
  • Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the crushing plant including rock drilling and blasting.
  • Knowledge of mines and geology regulations a must
  • Have at least 5 years experience
Asphalt Plant Manager
  • Should be knowledgeable in operation and maintenance of asphalt plants.
  • Knowledge of premix quality control is a must
  • Have at least 5 years experience
