UNITID - Pregnancy and HIV Infection Risk Study in Nyando


Project Qualitative Interviewer based in Nyando District
1 Position
Requirements
  • Applicant must be holder of at least Bachelors of Arts Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent
  • They must have at least two years of relevant experience on HIV/AIDS issues.
  • They must be computer proficient
  • The successful candidate must have knowledge in Qualitative Research, qualitative data collection, summarization, entry and analysis.
  • Successful candidate should be able to communicate in local language (Luo)
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead dyad interviews and focus group discussions
  • Transcribe, enter, summarize and analyze data
  • Lead community mapping, pile sorting and free listing activities
  • Participate in socio behavioral model building
  • Oversee formation and running of Community Advisory Board (CAB)
  • Prepare community for the study
  • Maintain community participation in study
  • Any other duties given by the field coordinator
Note: The position is on temporary basis- 3 months renewable.
